Best Friends

You know the best stories for me are the buddy flicks, yes they follow a very over used formula, two guys from different worlds, nothing alike and yet they bond, when in fact all signs should point that these two shouldn ot get along at all! There is something very cool and grabbing about that to me. Maybe its because I value my friends. Either way that was the basic idea behind this strange behavior competition I am workin on. So here we are more progress!

Don Is Simpsonified!

So I have not seen the movie, but I will soon! Some may know this but I actually seriously got into drawing when a kid in my middle school thought he could draw bart simpson better then anyone! I took on the challenge, and many horrible simpson drawings later and a few ugly Teenage mutant ninja turtle sketches, I was on my way to being, average! LOL Still trucking along! Anyway the simpsons offical movie site has a great spot where you can make yourself into one of the characters! Check it out! So there ya go!

Stanger Behaivor

So I am pushing my sketch my making a more 3d rendered scence for the strange behavior competition for Making some character design changes on the Fish and the worm, and eventually going to model the gang of sharks. 3d Modelling isnt really my thing, but hopefully I can pull this off! For now here is the fish as of today.

Scales and what not!

I have added more detail and taken some things out, now I am juggling with if I want to model this scene in 3d for the compitition or just be lazy and enter the 2d one! LOL, the fish and the worm are 3d right now but I brought them in photoshop, I am thinking about pushing the models more, modeling the sharks and doing about 80 percent of it in 3dmax right now only maybe 40 percent of its 3d. We will see i guess. :)

More progress

Since there is 98 days left in the competition I am considering recreating this scence entirely in 3d, when i started this the fish and the worm were crudely modelled in 3d to use as a base, then I took it into photoshop. But I am still leary of doing the while scence in 3d, I am terrible at 3d modeling LOL

More Strange Behavior

This is where I am so far for the strange behavior competitition for Cgtalk. Anyway I am not sure what I wanna do with it to push it further yet, I might actually give it a sepia tone instead to give it more of a old western feel. I really hope you all like it!
